Welcome to FoundationalKnowledge.org, home of the Foundational Knowledge blog and the Visceral Reflections podcast.  This ministry is dedicated to the Christian faith with a focus on Discipleship and Spiritual Formation along with Evangelism and Biblical theology.  The goal of this ministry is to make disciples, faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who can live out our faith in daily life as well as grow to a place of training others also.

Visceral Reflections podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, AnchorFM, Google Podcasts, as well as other platforms.  You can also link to it here: Visceral Reflections Podcast.   The podcast is designed to be raw and loosely formatted with the goal of being organic and making room for the Holy Spirit to direct.  A little different than other podcasts that are produced, written out and have good presentations value.  We do not, you get the recording that God gives according to the topic that we select to be presented.

This ministry has been created by Tom Talamantez from the great city of Chicago.  Tom is well versed in areas of the Bible, biblical theology, church history, apologetics, psychology, origin science, and philosophy.  Tom did his undergraduate work in comparative religions with an emphasis on philosophy, psychology and critical analysis, and currently working on an M.Div. and an MA in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship at Moody Theological Seminary.  With over 30 years of learning and teaching the bible, Tom works closely with the C.S. Lewis Institute as a Commissioned Fellow, a Mentor and serves on the Board of Advisors.  Tom is currently working on multiple writing projects including two book drafts.
